Before You Start

Prerequisites

• Instructor or Creator account

Planning Your Course

Ask yourself:

1. Who is this course for?
2. What will learners be able to do after completing it?
3. How long should it take?
4. What prerequisites are needed?
5. How will you assess learning?

Step 1: Access the Course Builder

1. Navigate to LMS → Course Builder
2. Click "New Course" button
3. Choose starting template or blank canvas

Step 2: Set Course Metadata

Basic Information

• Title: Clear, descriptive name
• Description: 2-3 sentence overview
• Category: Select from dropdown
• Difficulty: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced
• Duration: Estimated minutes to complete

Course Image

• Upload thumbnail (recommended: 1280x720px)
• Use high-quality, relevant imagery
• Ensure proper licensing/attribution

Learning Objectives

List 3-5 specific outcomes:

Step 3: Build Your Course Structure

1. Click "Add Module"
2. Enter module title
